“I wanted to add some additional comments to my review below. Matt and Zach came out to the house and did an inspection of the work done. Apologized for the mishap with the furniture and provided me with cleaning supplies for my floors. I feel Lady Baltimore did what they needed to do to make me happy. They are a great family owned company and the staff is great. Again have to state my floors look fantastic and no business is perfect and the end result of the job is really what is important. Thanks again for touching base with me and making me feel like my opinion matters. Best Stacy This review is hard for me to write because I have two opinions on this company. I had three estimates from various flooring companies and prices were about the same. However, Lady Baltimore offered moving of furniture for an additional fee. This was a great selling point for me since I was to be out of the house for 10 days and on vacation. I was under the impression the furniture was to be moved back in its original place once the floor was dry. Upon returning from a 12 hour drive from vacation, I opened the garage door to find 2 family room chairs in the middle of the garage floor. Upon further inspection of the house, furniture was in the laundry room, and none of the furniture was in the original place. The a/c vents were lying on the fireplace hearth. I paid for a service and it was not carried out to my satisfaction. Thank God I am not an elderly person or those chairs would still be sitting in the garage. Since modern technology is at our disposal, I would have thought the movers would have taken pictures of the rooms before moving furniture out so they would know where the furniture would go upon placing it back. Also, upon signing the contract, I was informed there some touch up may need to be done on the toe kicks of my trim. I was well aware of stain possibly hitting some of the toe kick trim. However, going up my stairs, there was a just a bit of sloppiness with the stain. Stain was splashed up the trim way beyond the trim line. I provided pictures to the company of furniture and splahes of stain. My first opinion of this company is they do an excellent job on the floors, they look beautiful and exactly what I wanted. The staff in the office and Matt were courteous and very helpful everytime I called. But my second opinion is they fall a little short on customer satisfaction once the job is finished. I called the next day about my concerns. I was very polite, nice and expressed my disappointment. I was informed there would be a follow up call from owner. It has been 15 days and no call. No offer for reimbursement of moving costs or discount for the sloppiness of the work. Lady Baltimore was the only company that required a 10 day length of time to be out of the house. I would have thought with length of time, the job would have more than complete. I felt like there was no supervisor on site when the job was finished to inspect the property. I know it was not a huge job, but $6,000 is not a small one either. If you were doing a mansion or church, there was no way what was mentioned above would be acceptable. So in closing, Lady Baltimore absolutely does a fantastic job on floors. But I would probably hold back the last payment until you have a chance to inspect the property. The contract is set up where everything is paid in full by the time you return to your home.”
