  Oh my goodness, this place is like heaven. I love it her. The crabs,the food, the service is second to none! If you go you will enjoy it. This location is perfect for families or for couples. The items can be a bit pricey, but the ambiance in the food make up for it. the backside of the restaurant called the rivershack is equally as nice and very fun in the summertime. The location is easy to get to and easy to get out of. You have to check out this gem hidden in Charlestown.

  Comedy night & buffet dinner. Dinner was good (salad, rolls, potatoes, jambalaya, brisket, ziti, and mixed veggies) Food was a little cold and table order not coordinated well. Drink prices on the high end and bar service was slow out of the gate but recovered by end of meal. Our table server was very good. Show was excellent. 3 comedians, 2 were super funny. Would definitely do this again

  Loved it except the swarms of Shadfly Bugs early spring. It is located at the top of Chesapeake Bay with beautiful views.
  
  There is a marine store on premises with ice and a good variety of groceries.
  
  Across the street is Wellwood Yacht Club Restaurant and Lounge.
  
  American food, good variety, portions and service. Drinks served and if you prefer bring your own booze but there is a nominal fee for glasses and ice orders.
  
  Prices a little high but well worth it.
  
  There is a pool too for members but I think they sold day passes too.

  We went here for a birthday and had a great time! Our waitress were very nice and attentive, they never let our glasses become empty. Everyone seemed to really enjoy their food. ????

  We love the Wellwood. They have delicious food and an awesome selection. They are a little pricey but worth it. Portion sizes are good. They also offer a lot of brunches for different occasions with so many selections you won't believe it! They will have everything from breakfast foods to carved meats to some seafood. Well worth the trip. Nice atmosphere. Great food. Great seafood too.
