  The La Plata Rita's is the best Rita's in Maryland. The ownership is great and it really shows in the employees attitudes towards each guest. It seems that everytime I get served, my server is Madison. She is always greeting me with a smile and always very courteous and professional. Kudos to all the employees and the ownership.

  Delicious ice and custard, good variety of flavors, friendly service. Outdoor seating area, generally shaded by trees. Roy Rogers next door if you get hungry for non-sweets. Parking area is small, but usually more than enough.

  I have to admit, this is my first time coming here. This place was absolutely amazing. The staff workers were very friendly and informative. They made me feel like I belonged there, even though I don't really feel like I belong in this very quiet town...
  
  There are park benches outside in case you want to sit down as well. There's not much of a view except the highway however.
  
  My advice : come here for the Italian ice, and the experience of "excellent"customer service. It's a win win!!!!!
