    Definitely worth a visit! We hired kayaks for a self guided tour. The staff were very friendly and had lots of advice on things to see. The lake is beautiful and peaceful with lots of wildlife. We got lots of amazing photos

    We did the bike tour and it was awesome. Susan was fantastic. She is very knowledgeable of the history and ecosystem of the area. Very friendly and pleasant. Highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys outdoors, and wants to experience what Dorchester county has to offer!

    My wife rented a bike for three days from Blackwater Adventures, and we both rented kayaks for a one-hour adventure. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They suggested all sorts of fun places in the wildlife refuge to explore. We saw bald eagles, herons, osprey... I highly recommend visiting Blackwater Adventures to maximize your enjoyment of the Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge

    I've rented kayaks from them for years. Susan and her family are super friendly and knowledgeable regarding the natural and historic aspects of the Wildlife Refuge and surrounding area. Their equipment is top notch.

    We took our 7 and 9 year old grandsons and also four of us thoroughly enjoyed the 2 hour, easy paddle. Susan, our guide had interesting information to present to the children (and us)! Highly recommend for all ages.
