Quaint but in a beautiful setting
This museum is dedicated to early American history, and contains various artifacts. One section contains items that would have been used in life during the early 20th century. The other section contains other artifacts such as hunting weapons and decoys, as well as some tools and arrowheads from each time period across from a detailed model of an Indian village. This museum hosts events and presentations about various topics regularly. Please note that people who are severely allergic to cats may find this place slightly unpleasant due to the 2 friendly cats who can be seen occasionally.
Wonderful place with interesting information. I love local history.
Super fun... So much local history...! I went with my son's school group and we had a blast.. The hospitality was excellent..
Wonderful presentation in great detail work on The Disappearance of my great-aunt Florence Wingate. People go out of their way to be warm and friendly and love to talk about the history of our area almost like going back home and sitting down in front of a warm stove in the winter time and carrying on wonderful conversations. The staff here everyone works very very hard to maintain and carry on the history of our area.
