(August 12, 2017, 2:59 pm)Susan is a charming woman with a quick wit and full of inspiring information about the mill she and her husband renovated which is also her home and studio. Very earth kind and protective, she will happily talk about the ways she and the Mr. use solar energy, composting toilets, electric cars and organic gardening to live a life in harmony with their beautiful surroundings. She is also a very talented potter and artist. A 20 minute visit left me feeling renewed and inspired. And I have a few pieces of her work that remind me of her and keep me relatively grounded while residing along the frenetic I-95 corridor.
