    Delightful secluded campground

    We stayed for three nights in early June while visiting several sights in the area. The camp hosts were friendly and helpful.

    We selected a tent site (non-electric) and while it rained the first couple days the site was well drained and we didn’t have many problems with the water.

    We enjoyed being able to gather sticks and such to supplement our campfire. The site was quite wooded and felt secluded, despite not being too far from homes and regular roads.

    The restroom facilities were clean and convenient with sinks, toilets, and showers. There is a water spigot on the side of the building.

    Check-in can be done on your own or with the camp host. A small book exchange and firewood purchase station are also available.
