  I don't know if I have ever said that I love going to the dentist, but I can say I now enjoy going to Dr.D's office! At 52 years old, I have only ever had one cavity and then I moved to MD and the first dentist office I found tried to tell me I had 16 cavities!!! Thankfully I decided to wait 6 mths and try a different office. That office was Monocacy River Dental. And though I did end up with three and 1/2 cavities, it certainly wasn't 16!! Dr. D has excellent chair side manner; always walking me through everything and has a very gentle touch. I even enjoy the rest of the staff as well... from the receptionists, to my dental assistant, and the billing people. Another plus is that I have never had to book three months out just to get an appointment. Though I don't want them to get too busy, I can easily recommend them to anyone, ;) Actually my husband used this same office and he had an excellent experience as well with the doctor he saw!!
  
  UPDATE: Still going to the office, but found out today that Dr. D is not coming back from her maternity leave. Decided to stay home with her baby. It would have been nice to receive notification. The new permanent doctor seems nice enough, but not quite the same as Dr. D. Hoping things will get back to amazing. Right now it is just good.
  The doctor my husband saw has also left. Hope this isn't a pattern. I'd like to get consistent care.

  It was very friendly and helpful environment. Good see all young professionals working!!! Definitely will be back :)

  I am really thankful about my first visit to Monocacy River Dental Care. One of their registered dental hygienist performed an outstanding job. I felt totally relaxed. Best dental service I ever had. Thank you so much Teresa Yannone for everything you did. I am definitely looking for my next visit.

  My first visit was very impressive. Everyone is very professional, polite, and friendly. The office is clean, and technology is incorporated into the practice appropriately. I received a very thorough cleaning and exam. I would highly recommend this dental practice!

  My family's dental care visits at Monocacy Dental Care has been positive. It's in a convenient location with plenty of parking directly in front of the office. I like the staff as they are very upbeat, positive and "patient centric".
  
  Visit: My large family, including children, really have had positive experiences with the hygienist. After their vists, the kids continue to be excited about dental hygiene. They floss!! Maybe some brainwashing is going on under those lights. Jokes aside, the hygienist is great and my kids learn what they must do to keep their teeth healthy and they maintain it.
  Personal experience is that the cleaning procedure is gentle and I have not had any pain along the gums during the course.
  
  As any dentistry goes, any issues that they see are recommended for either preventative or corrective treatment. I appreciate that they suggest treatments without being condescending. They have asked a couple of times recommended treatments before leaving the office. But I understand that it's both a dentistry for one's health benefit and at the same time a business and you know, medical/dental insurance industry doesn't pay out well for cleaning visits alone.
  
  Overall, my experience is 5/5.
  
  I'll update as we continue our periodic dental health visits at Monocacy.
