  Small but nice memorial, on a federal facility so access is allowed but limited/ controlled

  This was an absolutely amazing experience for me. I'm so glad I went. So blessed that they sent me an invitation to this weekend that honored my husband and 102 other fallen firefighters. This cannot possibly have been any better! My honor guards/escorts were wonderful! Thank you, Chris and Richard. I will miss you! Hope to see you next year!

  This is a powerful place, especially if you are an emergency services worker. If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth the visit. However, be aware that this is a federal property and you will be expected to give up your ID and submit to search in order to enter the campus. The guards are super friendly and professional though so it wasn’t that big a deal for us.
