    Wonderful combination of trails meeting all physical activity levels from beginners to the more advanced mountain climbers. Beautiful setting overlooking Frederick, and Middletown in several different locations. Don't forget to use the OtterBox and leave your $3 to keep the park clean and secure!

    I have been going to Gambrill since I was a kid to watch the sunset,sunrises,weddings@the Tea Room,great trails for short or long hikes&for just a nice drive

    Beautiful scenic views. Tea houses available for rental as well. Extremely nice, & secluded little spot off the beaten path.. Great place to go to get a clear mind and some peace & quiet.

    Easy to get to from DC. Reasonable prices ($25 for non-MD residents on the weekend) and good plots with some privacy. The on-site ninja was very helpful although it was a bit of a challenge to figure out how to pay since there were two or three signs on the way in that had conflicting information. You need to drive into the middle of the camp site where the bathhouse is (not to be confused with the bathroom when you first get into the campsite) to pay.

    The bath house is well kept and clean and has two hot showers, which was nice. There are plenty of local hikes and and overlook that has pretty fantastic views. Good weekend trip.

    If you plan ahead, you will have a great time. Just know where to go, what to do, and know what you like. Beautiful park with plenty for children, teens, and adults. Beautiful overlooks overlooking the country side and city. You can literally overlook Frederick County from one side of the mountain and Fredrick City from the other.
