Frederick Dental Solutions: Ellahe Amini, D.M.D.

Before having dental implant surgery, I hesitated a few months on whether to have the surgical procedure, and where to have it. I had a beautiful bridge, but bridges do not last. The 12 year-old bridge gradually cracked and chipped causing painful dental issues. It was time for a change. I decided to go with Dr. Ellahe Amini because in the long run, she’s always done well with my teeth.
Dr. Amini was very patient with me during implant placement surgery, and I appreciated her talking through what was happening with each step. Three implants were placed, and I got through with her kind professionalism and gentle humor. The gums where the dental implants were placed healed up nicely after a few months, and last September the permanent prostheses were completed. I looked at them and felt so pretty I cried. The teeth look and feel quite natural. I can smile widely again. I hadn’t realized how much I suppressed smiling naturally until the implants were completed.
Her staff and front desk manager were absolutely patient with me, and were available for any questions and follow-up care. Dr. Amini has been my dentist for many years now and has seen my teeth go through changes due to grinding.
I’m glad she did the procedure. The effect turned out beautifully!

This is a wonderful dental office and I HATE going to the dentist. I started coming to Dr. Amini for a second opinion after going to a terrible dental practice who told me I would need hundreds of dollars worth of deep cleaning under anesthetic or I would lose my teeth. I was told to do a better job of flossing, then she found two cavities missed by other dentists. 6 months later through x rays she found huge infection caused by botched root canal by afore mentioned quack dentists and recommended wonderful endodontist to repair the damage. Since then I have only gone to this dental office. Both Dr. Lee and Dr. Amini are so kind and gentle. I do not even feel the anesthetic or the work they are doing. Amazing. I am usually shaking and crying to go to the dentist, but not here.
