(September 20, 2017, 12:50 pm)Going into therapy was a terrible experience for the first ~10 therapists, until I met Kara. I clearly stated that I did not trust her and that she could not understand my situation, as I did with every therapist. She responded differently though - she respected my boundaries until we developed a form of communication. We were then able to begin the real work.
Kara is truly empathetic and genuine. She believes that her clients have the skills and ability within themselves to rebuild and recover. She is talented and has a wealth of experience with various populations allowing her perspective and insight.
Kara is my first choice referral for this area. I highly recommend her. Both as a previous client, and now as a colleague.
