“This is a big rental place that feels like a small one. They have everything in the world, but they've always got time for you and you never seem to wait for very long going through the paperwork. The staff will help load your equipment in in my case, bunch of scaffolding and when it's time to return it they unload it with a smile. “There are important things to know when shopping at Goodwill of Monocacy Valley. The policy is NO REFUNDS. Period. That is understandable if a consumer simply changes his/her mind. However, on two separate occasions, Goodwill associates inadvertently broke the items I was purchasing. On a third occasion, an associate neglected to put the item into the shopping bag. Each time, I had 100% legitimate cause to ask for my money to be returned to me. Each time, I was told I could "pick out something else" or "receive store credit." That is an absolutely ridiculous policy/procedure under those circumstances. Goodwill is a money making operation that generates A LOT of revenue. If I purchase an item, I expect to walk out of the store with it. I work hard for the money I earn. And STOP asking me if I want to "round up" in order to supplement the handsome compensation at the executive level. On the up side, the front line associates are VERY hardworking and very nice people.”

“Just wanted to share this business. We had a very positive experience with them today at the Frederick fair. Long story short there was a mix up when we bought some candies and with two little kids that kept trying to run off my husband and I weren't paying as close attention as we could have been. When we later realized what happened we went back without much hope since we had no way to prove anything we were saying but the owner kindly listened and worked out a solution with us. We are so grateful. It's the least I could do to share their website and tell everyone about them. All I can say is it was wonderful to come across a business that is caring and honest. Plus their CANDY IS AWESOME! I give them a 10/5 stars and recommend everyone check out their website and/or the other events they will be visiting. “Bilder and Sons was a great choice for me when I had an emergency and my well pressure tank had gone bad, my Wife called me at 3pm at work to tell me water was spraying everywhere, after turning off the water she called Bilder and Sons, Mr Bilder was at my house by 5 pm and I had a new tank in place and water running by 7pm in time for my daughters bath, didn’t mess up my schedule one bit.
