“Best Dominican salon! Ada is wonderful! I’ve tried a few and Ada is absolutely the best. She is beyond sweet and you are in and out very quickly! She treats her last customer of the day as if it’s her 1st. She takes the time to listen to what you want and also gives great advice for the best results. “I recently attended a viewing of a friend at this funeral home. I found this place to be warm, and beautifully decorated with ample room for many attendees to sit for the service. The owners were kind and accomodating and I was pleasantly surprised at how welcoming this place was. I found the parking to be ample and the areas inside to rest plentiful. I would highly recommend this funeral home to anyone interested in giving their loved ones a wonderful tribute.”

“Hummingbird Manor Assisted Living Inn is one of the most charming, beautiful and cozy assisted living homes that we have come upon. The Owner and the Staff are exceptional and they go out of their way to help their tenants. The Ladies and Gent that live there are so very nice when we visit and they make us feel right at home. I've been told the meals are delicious and I've certainly smelled the awesome aroma floating from the kitchen. The home and rooms are quite large and comfortable and the woodwork and windows are exquisite. We would definitely recommend Hummingbird Manor. ”

“This review is specifically for Holly Circle Townhouses under TCA. I know nothing about the rest of the company. I lived in one of the 1000 sq. ft. townhouses for ~18 months at $900/month (rent has since gone up but not by much). Patrick McGrady the owner was always easy to talk to, as was Debbie at the front desk and the maintenance men I met (several of whom were relatives of Patrick. it's a family business). I could tell that Patrick cared about making Aberdeen a nicer place to live (he's the mayor). Sometimes maintenance requests I put in would fall by the wayside, but this has happened to me at much more expensive apartments too, and if I asked again they were nice about it and came within a few hours. We did not pay anything out of pocket when we had ants, they offered to clean our floors after a sewer leak (another tenant flushed kitty litter!), and they were always happy to take care of other problems. They really bent over backwards for us. It's because of this that I felt I got my money's worth. More rental companies should act like this toward renters. The properties themselves, however, are old and some of them were not well taken care of by previous tenants, but mine did meet my standard of cleanliness after I moved in. I first saw it while the maintenance team was cleaning up from a previous tenant, so when I moved in I could tell how hard they worked to clean it up. But if you are sensitive to noise or a light sleeper, make sure you tell the staff this when you are looking for a place to live, as most of their properties are near the railroad or major roads. We left because of the railroad noise, as I am a light sleeper. If you want a place that's cheap but not the bottom of the barrel, and noise doesn't bother you, I would highly recommend Holly Circle Townhouses.”
