Very nice
Super fun place to boat. Lots of cool laid back people.
Great boating spot on the Susquehanna. Lots of boats on the weekends but empty during the week
Super cool spot to hang out with friends and family! It can get busy on the weekends but there’s always room! We even set up a volley ball bet on the sand bar when the tide goes out!
Busy with boats on weekends but calm and relaxing on weekdays.
Susquehanna National Wildlife Refuge, also known locally as Battery Island, is located at the mouth of the Susquehanna River in Harford County, Maryland. In the early 1940's, the island and over 13,000 acres of water were closed to hunting migratory waterfowl by presidential order and designated as the Susquehanna NWR.
Susquehanna National Wildlife Refuge is closed to the public to help protect these habitats and provide a protected place for wildlife. Anyone having questions or seeking further information about Susquehanna NWR or other National Wildlife Refuges in the area is encouraged to contact Refuge Manager Suzanne Baird at 410-228-2692 or suzanne_baird ...
