    Very cosy place. Food was very good. Had new York strip, cooked perfectly.. Baked potato was excellent.. Cooked in oven not micwave ........

    Attended the Madison Mitchell Endowment Dinner and Auction. Oysters on the half shell and steamed clams during the Cocktail hour. The steak and crabcake for dinner was exceptional. Great pies for dessert.

    The food at the Bayou never disappoints. My salmon and crab imperial tonight was excellent. Lou Ward and his staff continue to do the exceptional job for which they are well-known. It's always a treat to dine here!

    Been going to the Bayou for years now, since I was a kid. The food is great and so is the service. The fried oysters and strawberry pie are the best around. Lou Ward runs a great little restaurant. Prices are very reasonable.

    We have been patronizing Lou and the Bayou for a number of years. We have done luncheons and dinner affairs there and the food and service is great. I have attended events there and the service was great as well. Lou and the Bayou are community service oriented and family friendly. Give them a try. Great food and service
