Evans Funeral Home is the ONLY place to go when losing a loved one. They are the most considerate people I have met in a long time. Within the last 6 years, I lost my mom, my dad and my little brother. All were cremated at Evans. They allowed us to spend as much time as we needed with them before they went through cremation. It was comforting to have people who truly understand what you are going through. The day of the Memorial, they handled EVERYTHING! All went smoothly for us which we desperately needed. They answered all our questions and got back to us in a timely manner when we called. They even texted approximately a month later to check up on me! Who does that these days? You are not a dollar sign at Evans, you are FAMILY. They don't forget you once the funeral process is over. If I walk in there today, they know who I am because I am treated like FAMILY! Thank you Evans for all you have done to get me through these very difficult times.
I’ve had 2 family funerals at Evans this year, and both times, throughout the process and every step of the way, each employee was so genuinely warm and truly cared. They continue to reach out and check on me and send inspirational quotes via email that are very appreciated (you can elect to have them sent or not). After enduring several losses in my family, I found myself turning to Evan's Funeral Chapel in Forest Hill three times in four years to meet my family 's funeral service and cremation needs. Cori LeMaitre, Elizabeth, and Scott were all compassionate and professional individuals who collectively assured that I felt supported throughout each loss. Till this day, they check on me and offer their kindness and support. I am very grateful for their continual support and will return to them for all future needs. Thank you.
The staff at Evans Funeral Chapel was amazing with their help in making arrangements for our loved ones. They were so gracious and kind. They expertly guided us through the many decisions we had to make. The facility also provided a wonderful atmosphere to receive our visitors. We can’t thank them enough.
When my mom passed she wanted to be cremated and chose Evan's Funeral Chapel for the services. When the time came, my siblings went to the Forest Hill location to make the arrangements. We were very pleased with the services provided and the staff was very professional. They took care of everything for us and we didn't worry about anything. The Reverend performing the service was wonderful! Each year Evan's has an Remembrance Service for those that passed during the year. My sister and I attended. We weren't sure how we felt about going since it had only been 2 mos. since mom passed but we wanted to honor her memory. The ceremony was tastefully done. It was emotional but healing. It is such a nice thing to do to help the families through such a tough time. They also gave each family a porcelain angel with their loved one's name on it. It's beautiful. I also received a text from the funeral director checking to make sure me and my family were doing ok.
