  10 stars for Jason Brown Wood Floors!
  
  We hired Jason Brown Wood Floors to refinish the floors in our newly-purchased condo. The floors were a mess after having had wall-to-wall carpet on them for several decades, with damaged boards in two areas and deep scratches.
  
  We wanted a rich, but not-too-dark stain. When we saw the stain color samples (applied to the newly sanded floors) the crew explained that we needed to go with a much darker stain than we initially wanted to help disguise irreparable damage to the underlying floors.
  The floors had been permanently damaged by years of steam cleaning the carpets and had large areas of discoloration that could not be removed by sanding.
  
  We picked Dark Walnut, and I was prepared to accept a compromise: floors much darker than I wanted, and visible flaws.
  
  When the job was finished, we were astonished—the floors are absolutely stunning! The Dark Walnut over our white oak floors produced a rich, warm brown (without being golden or red), the wood grain was beautifully enhanced, not too dark, not too light.
  
  Best of all, the underlying damaged areas are nearly invisible, and only noticeable upon searching them out where the crew had pointed them out. No one would ever notice them. We so much appreciate the expertise of Jason Brown’s crew, who knew exactly how to make the damaged floors appear nearly flawless.
  
  The crew has excellent carpentry skills, too. Old shoe molding was removed, and new shoe molding was expertly installed to match the floors. Floorboards in the bedroom that had been cut open for access to the air conditioner were beautifully repaired. The new thresholds are exactly right—they even refinished the entry threshold that is visible from the exterior hallway.
  
  Attention to detail was evident throughout, with the same beautiful craftsmanship even inside the closets!
  
  The Jason Brown crew (Chris, Sean, Pat and John, if my memory is correct) was courteous and efficient. They did a spectacular job, transforming our little condo completely with beautifully refinished floors.
  We also appreciated Jason stopping by to get the job started, and Melissa in the office, who was unfailingly responsive and helpful.
  
  We truly appreciate the expertise, professionalism and craftsmanship that went into this project. It’s easy to understand why Jason Brown Wood Floors has been voted Best of Baltimore so many times!

  Exceptional service. Our floors were in good shape but needed a new coat of finish. Jason Brown's team came in while we were out of town and when we came back everything looked brand new. There was a very small issue with one of the boards in our hallway where the varnish peeled up as they were removing some of their tape, but they came out the next day and patched it up right away. Everyone is very courteous and will definitely be calling them again for future flooring needs.

  We had a wonderful experience with Jason Brown Wood Floors. We had a very complicated job with floors that needed refinishing, missing flooring that needed to be matched up to the other flooring, and final tile in the kitchen and our guest room. The crew we worked with on almost a daily basis, John, Nolan, and Shawn, was fantastic and very considerate of us and our two cats. They worked with us so we could stay in the house while they did the flooring, with us living on one side while they did one half and the other side while they did the other half. They kept us informed every step of the way and, while stressful just because any renovation is stressful, we had a very good experience and will be calling them when we're ready to finish our basement flooring!
