Wonderful, professional and caring team. Of course animal hospitals are never cheap, but Harford costs were reasonable and fair unlike many others. They are highly recommended.

I took my pup here about 2 years ago because she was vomiting. The techs were very kind and caring as well as the Dr. (I forget his name). But needless to say I was happy with the service, they gave me at least 2 updates everyday she was in the hospital (which was 2) and they always kept me updated on my bill, which was very helpful for me. I highly recommend this hospital to my family and friends! I only gave 4 stars because of the cost... I understand this is an emergency vet but it was still wasn't cheap.

Everyone needs to understand this is an EMERGENCY SERVICE, yes their prices are higher because YOUR vet isn't open and available, this isn't for routine care. They offer care credit that they help you get in touch with while you are there to pay. They deserve to get paid just like any one else. Get health insurance for you pet! You don't go grocery shopping and show up without your wallet and still leave with your groceries, right? And NO you are not permitted into the treatment area and this is routine for all veterinary hospitals. As to when they get your animal ready to be put to sleep they are prepping them (shaving and placing an iv) they do let you be with your animal when they are put to sleep. What some people don't realize is that when there are difficult situations going on with your pet it is best not to have the pet parent around (causing a commotion and creating more drama then needed at such a critical time). Dr. Snyder is the best vet there is, she knows her stuff inside and out and will be completely honest with you. Understanding the WHOLE situation goes along way : )
