“Jim Testerman preaches truth from the Bible: Jesus was born, died, & rose, & as the Son of God, He is the Salvation of the world. "All who believe in Him will be saved." Oak Grove has friendly people, Sunday morning & weekday Bible studies, & ministries for men, women, youth, children, mature adults, overcoming drugs, music for all ages (including the Living Christmas Tree) & mission outreach. There is plenty of parking on Sundays for the 2 services: 9 & 10:45. All buildings are handicapped-accessible.”

“Great place for families, there are snacks and coffee/tea after every service where you can sit and talk. Sunday school is small so the children get lots of one on one attention.”

“"Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper." Psalms 1:1-3”

“I can really feel the love when I'm here. The Pastor (Pastor Lee) speaks from the Bible and breaks it's down to it's simplistic form so u can't help but understand what da scripture means. I read da bible n when this Pastor simplifies a scripture I already read I'm at Aww because I c it different way now. Will return.”

“We visited from out of town and received a very warm welcome from members and leadership. Four elders went out of their way to greet us, as well as several other members. The greeting was more than a mere "nice to have you." Even after they found out that we were from out of town, and not prospective members, they continued to engage us with genuine hospitality. The worship was reverent, using both traditional hymnody and modern music. The music selections were good for teaching and prayer. The goal was clearly to glorify God. The preaching was solid. The message was a careful exposition of a biblical text, making one key point from the text and judiciously applying it to life. There was appropriate explanation of the Bible passage to aid in understanding the meaning of the passage. The application was intelligent and challenging. The prayers were well ordered and sincere. Nothing in the service seemed frivolous or purposeless. There was a definite progression in the liturgy with a recognition that we were in the presence of a holy and gracious God. The whole family is encouraged to participate in worship (even young children). We were truly pleased to find such a church while away from our own. We will continue to visit here, Lord willing, when we are in the area on the Lord's Day.”
