(April 12, 2018, 5:03 pm)There is NOTHING better than partying with a live band. If you want people at your wedding to dance, have fun and rave about the best time ever, then you need to get Retrospect.
We interviewed several bands and scoured the internet for the right fit for us. We found bands that seemed really cool, but we had an uneasy feeling and later found out that they don't really play and practice together - they're contract musicians who get pieced together for events. And we found other bands that were just too darn expensive.
Retrospect is amazing. They are a nine-piece band with awesome vocals and tons of horns! Our guests were wowed when the sax and trombone went out onto the dance floor with the lead singer and jammed out. It was like our own personal concert.
There are a lot of expenses at a wedding... Food, cake, flowers, the venue, and music. I beg you... do not skimp on the music. Who can remember any meal they've ever had at a wedding? Or what the flowers looked like? But everyone can remember the best concert you've been to or the most fun dancing you've ever had. And Retrospects pricing is really affordable.
The last thing I will say is that we have new cherished memories of our new families and friends dancing and laughing together. Our first dance and our parent dances were moments to remember. You want to trust that with people who can deliver. Retrospect definitely can! -

Over the course of that time I've seen them entertain at private parties, public events and even a night club or two and Retrospect has always put on a fantastic performance. They are a first class band that is well rehearsed, plays a wide array of music and comes ready to give 100%. They entertained for a charity gathering in a local park for me and the comments I received were all positive, they loved the music. Retrospect works with you and plans the music to fit the event and the venue. I once saw them play in a mid-sized restaurant, yes, all nine of them, and people were amazed they could still hold a conversation while the band played. The music will sound very nearly like the songs you heard on the radio. If you are looking for a great band for your wedding, private party or special event, I highly recommend Retrospect.

(November 19, 2017, 11:29 am)I have followed this band for years, still do so. They didn't play for my wedding because I didn't use a band and it was 500 miles from Washington DC. Great band anyway.. Five stars for sure.

(November 11, 2017, 11:18 am)Hiring Retrospect for our Wedding Band was one of our best decisions for our wedding!!! The dancing and the music was everyones favorite part of the wedding and we owe all of that to Retrospect!! They played the music that I wanted but also knew exactly what songs to play at the right times to make sure all wedding guests had a blast!! There are few things that Larry (the band leader) & the band did that I felt they went above and beyond the amazing music they played! First, Larry offered to meet me at my venue when I first reached out to hire them to make sure he had all the right equipment for the wedding day! That made me feel super confident that they would be able to deliver everything we wanted, which they did deliver! And then he also took us out to lunch a month before the wedding to review in person the entire day and make sure we were on the same page about every single detail! Second, the band learned extra songs for special dances at our wedding that were not on their list of songs (which is HUNDREDS of songs)! I was so appreciative that they were more than happy to learn those songs and fulfill the exact vision we had for each in particular special dance. Then third, did I mention the AMAZING music!!! And so much fun! During a few of the songs, the band comes out to the crowd and interacts with us and our guests... it was a true highlight of the entire night! If you want to dance to the best music and truly make the reception an experience to remember I would highly suggest hiring Retrospect for your Wedding Band!
