In addition to being a client of Jennifer's and receiving the physical and emotional benefits of her gift, I was witness to something truly amazing. One of my grandchildren (age 7) was having a sleepover with us, and he was in the throes of a full-blown migraine. I called Jennifer to ask if she had any suggestions on how to help him. She asked me to put him on the phone. In less than a minute, he stopped crying and his eyes became heavy. He was whispering "mhmmm" and was patting the phone lovingly. He quickly feel asleep. I took the phone from his cheek and asked Jennifer if she had reike'd him. She said she had and to tell him to remember that the angels would stay with him to help keep his pain away. He slept peacefully through the night, and awoke with no sign of a headache.
It's so hard to see a little one screaming in pain and to see the peace wash over him so quickly was magical. I'll never forget this experience!
An outstanding way to ground and heal yourself without turning to medicine. I myself am recently coming off an antidepressant after being on them for over a year. Not only has reiki done more for me than this class of “medicine” has, but the withdrawal has really been wicked, so I am turning to reiki for help with that as well! Unlike medicine, reiki will not force your body to become physically dependent on it. Definitely worth a shot!
