Dr. Lazris is a breath of fresh air, compared to much of the insurance- and test-driven medical community. He takes a whole-person approach to his patients’ health, and (much more than other doctors) takes the time to listen. The result is a legitimate partnership in the patient’s healthcare and general well-being.
I recently had to switch insurance plans from a PPO to an HMO. Unfortunately, Dr. Lazris was not available for coverage on my new plan. But rather than switch doctors, I plan to keep seeing him and pay out of pocket for those general care visits. Which is about as strong an endorsement as one could give their doctor.
Dr. Lazarus treated my father in law for several complicated issues when he was in his late 80s and early 90s. He was so wonderful, kind, and caring. I highly recommend this Doctor. He listened to our concerns, and even treated him when he left a senior community without charging us because he had been his patient for years. What a heart for people.
