    I've been seeing Dr O for at least 5 years. I was referred to her by a friend that's very picky. I figured if she liked the Dr that says something. I was right. I refer all my friends to her practice. You can tell she really cares about her patients.

    I absolutely love this doctor. I have kept her over the years and through 3 different insurances. I even don’t mind some co-pays when I can get most of my care for free at the VA. Some of the front desk staff however, are disorganized, don’t follow through with lab results before calling for unnecessary referrals. I gave my complaint to the doctor in the past about a very serious matter at the front desk, and she dealt with it immediately. I will give these ladies a year to get it together before I mention names and the lack of basic medical knowledge to work in a doctor’s office. Although I get unnecessary calls for a referral I no-longer need, I do appreciate the calls instead of no call when something is wrong with you, or gone unchecked. It’s all a matter of perspective. The only time something would go unchecked with this doctor is if you forget to say something!

    Dr. Owusu-Sakyi is wonderful. She takes her time, listens to your input, and does a thorough evaluation. Your health is obviously of the utmost importance to her. She always ensures you get the care and consideration you deserve, even if it means taking extra time. You can expect to wait a solid hour after your scheduled appointment time to see her, but she is definitely worth it. If you care for yourself and can afford an extra hour wait every here and there, do yourself a favor and see Josephine. I can't recommend her highly enough.
