HCLS East Columbia Branch

I think every library in Howard county is amazing but this one is the closest to my house and it's beautiful. Great team of people working there also which makes every experience positive. They have an incredible amount of knowledge and are extremely helpful in every request.

Submitted my passport application here and it was super easy. The librarians were very helpful.

Best library system ive ever seen!!!! 50+ center is attached to East Branch library as well. I looooove it. Plenty of parking. Newly renovated with passport center. Stem center. ❤Pop up grab book and chill out anytime. Many computers and special areas to read or study quietly. Kids area is so big and has play areas and programs. One of the assistants in the children books areas helped me begin to pick reading materials for my 7 year old son. Shes an ex elementary school teacher K -6. Helped me and took me to section to explore different styled books and talked to me about boys and reading and even gave helpful tips. So grateful! Thank u
