“Tenay and her team at Calm Castle are nothing short of miracle workers! The stager I had recommended to my seller client had completely dropped the ball on us... she arrived a day later than she had promised and hours after her scheduled start time, leaving my client to start cleaning her house at 9:30pm because the photographer was scheduled to arrive the next morning. My client texted me that night to tell me what had happened and to mention that she wasn't too impressed with the staging she had paid good money for, but I thought, "how bad could it be?" This was a stager who had won Baltimore Magazine awards, showed a beautiful online portfolio, and had tons of 5-star ratings. Boy was I wrong. The staging for this half-million dollar listing looked like a cheap apartment, at best. I made repeated attempts to contact her to fix this disaster, but she couldn't be bothered to call me back. In a panic, I started calling around to find a stager who would even pick up the phone on a holiday weekend. She was incredibly compassionate and she immediately took charge with a positive attitude and agreed to meet me at the property (on a Sunday, no less) to figure out how to fix the staging disaster. Then she and her staging assistant came the next day (on Labor Day!!) and spent hours there making the house look picture perfect. She was also very punctual and she kept me posted throughout the entire process. Long story short, we had new photos taken once Tenay worked her magic, and the house went under contract in 3 days! I'm pleased to report that it just settled today, and my clients are incredibly happy with how everything turned out. Tenay not only did a wonderful job with the staging, but her phenomenal commitment to excellence helped me turn things around for my clients, who went from utterly disappointed and frustrated to absolutely thrilled.
