  I love Chuy's taco salad. I visited one time the rep gave me the wrong meat and it was larger than I anticipated but bought a bowl of what I really wanted on the side. I wished I had his name where I could mention him here because he was accommodating to say the least and he turned a meal that was going sour to greatness. The first meat was tougher and larger to eat but the bowl of ground beef was what I wanted and he knew and retrieved it. Thank you young man for going the extra mile to make me happy for those few minutes. Chuy's rocks!

  So I did enjoy the food. The only thing that I would say is everything was smaller portions for other Mexican places I have been to. From the drinks to the food. I noticed everything was on the spicier side and a little expensive. I do like spicy but the salsa that came with the chips were a bit spicy for the kids. The enchiladas and fajitas had a kick to it as well. But overall good. We didn’t have to wait to be seated even though when we pulled up and saw the parking lot. We definitely thought it would be a long wait. Also they gave the kids a push pop as a dessert that automatically comes with the kids meals.

  The food is always good, and our last trip or ticket got lost however the manager (unprovoked) owned it, comped our meal, AND gave us a ticket for a free meal for the future. Even better, they MAY have been 15 minutes late but I've waited longer at other establishments and they did diddly about it despite complaints. Love the margs, handmade tortillas, and clearly good service.

  A good broad menu of Mexican Delights. I like the enchiladas and the peppers stuffed with cheese. All the food that I've had and my dinner and lunch mates have had there has been properly prepared and when there is a special request if it was possible they did it.
  The tacos and in my case fish tacos were delicious. The shells were crisp, the fish tasted fresh, the greens and tomatoes obviously fresh.
  The service was great the people at the door friendly and if there's really someone you want to talk to 4 in my case a compliment management is always available. Everybody seems to stay calm and in a noisy Mexican restaurant with so many of them trying to be typical Mexican? it was not too noisy to have a conversation comfortably across the table for 4. I'm told the bar is nice the drinks professionally made and well served.
  
  The restaurant is accessible and they keep the bathrooms clean.
  If there's any issue management is there. I got the wrong dish once and they put it in to the kitchen so I was eating at the same time my dinner date was.

Chuy's Gluten-Free | Rockville

I ate at Chuy's last night and was very disappointed. All their meat is filled with gluten so vegetarian fare is all you can have. Unless you eat shrimp which I do but not at many restaurants. Gluten free menu is small and not appealing at all. I had the veggie enchiladas and still had a reaction from cross contamination.
