Muddy Branch Greenway Trail trailhead

Unfortunately muddy in large segments of the trail. Still fun and enjoyable riding the alternate route along the branch.

Things get really fun after crossing quince orchard road where there’s a lot of up and down and bouncing among the rocks and roots.

Nice trail but quite muddy after all the rain.

Bring your hiking boots, be prepared to get wet, maybe bring some climbing gear or bushwhacking gear. Definitely wear your essential oils bug sprays, anti tick, anti mosquitoes... All the normals for a really wild trail. Kind of surprised this super wild trail is in the middle of such an urban area. Kind of a place for off leash but kind of not, there are plenty of people traveling including people riding horses, people with dogs, hiking, bike riders, all kinds of activity back here, like 8 miles of trails it really goes on and about. There are some trails and marked paths but know this place is full of wild energy,which we all know is the best place to be, so enjoy it fully. There is no real parking you just kind of park off the streets and getting too/from the place by vehicle is a bummer, but totally worth it if you are into just the wild basics of nature with little to no structure of man. We will get better pics next time, we were too busy having fun to snap photos!

Although easily accessible, the entire trail feels very secluded. We saw deer, fish, dragonflies and fireflies. There were not to many people. You could easily spend an entire day exploring here. Make sure you don't forget your camera. You also might want some bug spray. Plenty of mosquitoes out.

Around 8 miles w/added trails will take you all the way to Great Falls

Be sure to have a definite way back in case the restaurant across from the Falls is closed????????‍♀️????????‍♀️
