Affordable Hernia Surgery

Great staff, Dr Kravitz and Dr Starin were the best I could ask for. Everyone was super helpful and explained everything to me. From the nurses to the anesthesiologist were awesome. It was my first surgery and couldn't have went better. Drove from Florida, and if I ever need another surgery. I will gladly come back to Maryland Surgery Center, the center suggested to stay at the comfort inn, couldn't have been a better location and staff. Clean ,courteous, and over the top compassionate. Thank the entire staff for going above and beyond to help me, due to I was solo for my surgery.

Outstanding!!! Flew into DC from Florida with my wife and met with Dr. Kravitz who was absolutely empathetic, personable, and informative about my upcoming procedure, which was previously and easily scheduled. A few hours later I had the pleasure of meeting the staff from the Maryland Surgery Center who were extremely professional, while keeping me informed on the upcoming surgical process and demonstrating the upmost concern for my safety and comfort. The procedure was performed by Dr. Starin who had exceptional bedside manners and did an unbelievable job with my very large inguinal hernia repair; my outpatient surgery was expeditiously completed and even just 7 hours after the procedure, I am static to report the incision is just a couple inches long, without any significant inflammation and to be quite honest barely any discomfort or pain, as a matter of fact right after surgery we went for a nice walk around DC.

Thank you so very much Dr Kravitz & Dr. Starin, I still can’t believe I don’t have to push my hernia in or wear any belts to keep it in place.

The name only tells half the the good stuff about the place. Yes the surgery was well priced and there were no financial surprises which was nice. But the best part was getting the appointment and surgery completed in one day by a qualified expert. We drove down from Delaware and met Dr. Kravitz at 10:30 for a consultation, he explained everything and confirmed my condition, I was in surgery by 1:30 the same day, and my wife was driving me home by 3pm! The staff was excellent and friendly and although they do this everyday, they still make you feel comfortable. It has been 3 weeks since my surgery and since Dr. Kravitz does not limit your activity I have been doing what I want every day and feel I am at 90% or better already.

It doesn't get any better than here for hernia consultation and surgery with or out without insurance.
