  I have performed with Michael in numerous concerts. He consistently performed at a highly professional level. Our musical programs included opera, broadway, standards and international songs in English, Italian, German, Hebrew, Yiddish and Spanish. Our audiences expressed their appreciation of Michael's performance on the accordion as well as my singing with him.

  I studied the accordion under Michael for 10 years, and I have no regrets. Throughout the experience, he was patient and understanding, but also continuously pushed me forward to improve. With him, I also had many chances to display my newfound skills and knowledge, giving me memorable experiences that has made me for the better. I would recommend Michael to any who are looking to take up the accordion.

  My two boys ages 10 and 8 take piano lessons from Michael B. Rubin. He has been teaching my boys since April 2019. Mike has been wonderful with them. He teaches with patience and gives a lot of attention to details. He requires his students to put in sufficient practice time and follows up with constructive feedback. Mike's knowledge of music is really beneficial. I would highly recommend him for piano lessons.

  I took piano accordion lessons from Michael Rubin for 6 months in 2019. He was a very knowledgeable, patient and observant teacher. I appreciated his integration of music theory into his assignments and the consistency with which he monitored my progress and assigned new work for the next lesson. I would recommend Michael to anyone desiring to learn core piano accordion technique and music theory.

  "I highly recommend Michael B Rubin as an accordion teacher. He is an excellent teacher: patient, observant, flexible, clear about instructions, responsive to specific student interests and needs. Adult music instruction has special challenges, and he understands these so well. The fee he charges is very reasonable.
