KNS prepared our son for grade school and beyond while ensuring that he got to spend as much time as possible just being a kid. We love that the kids learn through play - especially outside - and we can’t wait for our daughter to experience this great school.

"Starting out in a new area with small children can be tough. Kensington Nursery School and its community was a perfect fit for us! Through play our children prepped for elementary school, practiced social interactions, and were guided and encouraged by the wonderful teachers there to explore their creative side. We even strengthened our parenting skills through the co-op format! Perhaps most importantly, through KNS we formed friendships with like minded families that are some of the strongest relationships we have. Kensington Nursery School offers children a chance to learn crucial social skills in a supportive, parent-involved, play based school. The 2 year old class provides a gentle introduction to time away from parents/caregivers. The program goes all the way up to those entering kindergarten the next year with the 4 year old class. These kids are well prepared for the expectations of elementary school. We have been at the school for 5 years now and love it! Some of the teachers have been there for decades!

A great preschool for 2 through 5 year olds. We really like it here including my child who is excited to go every day of her program. They have a lot of outdoor play time and do crafts every day that I love to bring home and hang on the wall. There is more than one time/day option for each age, which is very convenient. Check the school out!

KNS is a great little school! We love the play-based curriculum and small class sizes. It’s a cooperative school, which means that families are involved and you get to know everyone in your child’s class. It is also very affordable compared to other schools in the area and offers classes for kids as young as 2. Highly recommend!
