(November 20, 2021, 3:21 pm)While exploring a few historic sites in Germantown and Gaithersburg, I stopped by historic Poolesville. It's a little strip of over two dozen old buildings many of them restored into local businesses. One of the more intriguing buildings looks like a general store It's the Calleva Farm Store. It's a small farm store with a self-service check out (talk about honor system!). They sell local chocolate, coffee beans, jams, drinks and produce. It's such a fun experience! I spent $3 on two delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies!

(May 3, 2020, 12:46 pm)The Calleva Farm Store is such a gem and the food is really good! So fresh. If you get there around opening time the bread is still warm! Everything we've bought there is delicous. With the current pandemic I also like that only one person/family at a time can go in.

(December 14, 2019, 9:56 pm)A really nice place to visit. They can teach you how to Kayak, Mountain climbing, Bike riding, Rafting, Zip lining so much to do. They also have in the mouth of October
Markoffs Hunted Forest and The Town. A really fun place.
