    I volunteered at the nature center for many years through middle and high school. I returned to bring my daughter in for the experience. This place is great and always has been. A few changes have been made for the better but it's still a great place to bring your kids and learn about the environment and the species that inhabit it!

    I never knew a historical home from the 1800's is on the site-its simple and amazing all at once. Limited hours for tours. The nature center itself is charming. Not much changes which my 3 year old loves-he knows exactly what to expect. The staff are sooo friendly. It's a Great place to visit -and super informative-for a long or short stay.

    We arrived just after a party. It held the kids attention as some enjoyed looking for animals at the feeder, dressing up and looking through the microscope. The staff were friendly and it provided enough indoor interests.

    Really a great nature center. It can be hard to find as you have to go past two entrances to the brookside gardens, but worth a visit with kids. The indoor area has a play room and a good number of animals to see. Outdoor has some hiking space including a pond. There is a trail from the parking lot to brookside gardens.

    This is a wonderful garden maintained by a staff of very dedicated volunteers. Worth the trip. Best to come on a weekday as weekends the lot is quite full. Parking at the first or third entrance is your best bet as parking near the greenhouse can be tough.
