“I wish I'd tried this sooner; we live just around the corner. I had a third party delivery tonight and I'm impressed. I took a gamble on Pad Thai. It was actually pretty good, and came with a bit of basil leaves on top along with a piece of fresh lime for squeezing. I know that doesn't seem like much, but I've tried a few places and they don't give lime and put weird things in it like bell peppers. The heat defaults around Medium. The Hot and Sour soup quart came with 2 bags of the fried wonton strips. There was nothing off-putting, but it seems like it was missing one small detail - I haven't been able to figure it out. The flavor was nice and the heat a Medium. Lastly, an order of eggrolls. The outside was crispy, the inner layers a little chewy, the filling was mince, but there was a fun note of white pepper. Next time I'll save $10 by picking it up myself, but worth trying more of the menu and I'd do these three again.”

“I found this place by Googling,and when I saw the great reviews and how close to home it was, I was on it! I was able to pick them up frozen and heat them up at home! They were delisioso! I’m going back next week and ordering a Bolivia dish! It is a house so don’t be turned off by that. The cook is very sweet and the Saltena was very very juicy and smaller like in my native country Bolivia. They offer Saltenas all week and specialty dishes on Sunday only.”

“Kao Thai has always been a stop for me anytime I find myself in Downtown Silver Spring. I used to be a frequent eater here when I lived in DTSS (have since relocated to Baltimore), but anytime I find myself back in town I make sure to make a quick stop to dine in or grab some takeout. I’m personally a huge fan of their Green Curry which in my opinion outdoes almost every Thai restaurant in the area, but have had their Pad Thai on occasion which I find great as well! I recently picked up some takeout and they were doing a great job handling the pandemic with a unique pen system and their overall organization. I hope to eat food from here for years to come!
