I Remember seeing this Cross everytime my dad
drove to Roy Roger's in Bladensburg, on the other side of the Bridge.
I think She SHOULD REMAIN STANDING, as a MEMORIAL to our WW1 Fallen.
SHE'S HISTORICAL,
LONG MAY SHE STAND!!
GOVERNOR HOGAN DONT let them TAKE this MEMORIAL AWAY from us,
it's a Landmark!
Hear us, our God, for we are despised. Turn their insults back on their own heads. Give them over as plunder in a land of captivity. Do not cover up their guilt or blot out their sins from your sight, for they have thrown insults in the face of the builders. Nehemiah 4:4-5
My grandfather helped build this memorial to honor the men who lived in that town. So this Cross means even more than just a memorial to men who fought for this country, it is a legacy of my family and how we honor our military. It is just evil what these people are try to do in wanting to destroy this monument. Shame on them.
This is a historical landmark. Atheist want to tear it down because there it is a cross. Shameful! Disrespectful to these Christian Veterans who gave you that right to speak.
Who ever ends up owning this cross,
You can put it on the hill in my yard.

Combat Veteran USMC
The Peace Cross holds many fond memories of my father doing the annual laying of the wreaths on Veterans Day with the American Legion Honor Guard. The Peace Cross should be left to honor our veterans who gave their all so we can enjoy all we can!
