  If you are considering moving to Metroplace at Town Center, you'd be better suited taking an extra few hundred dollars and moving to the brand new Aspire Apollo Luxury apartments across the street. Metroplace is NOT a luxury apartment community!! Please do not be fooled by the leasing office and management. The renovations that have taken place were much needed, but are not to the standard of what luxury apartment living is. The property also accepts vouchers for low income housing for PG county. Normally, this is a good thing, but because they don't require the typical background check and requirements to rent at this property, any and everybody gets a lease! For respectable individuals, you do not want to live there! They have changed management at least 3 times, this should have been a red flag for me. There aren't any amenities there. The new management will nickle and dime you every step of the way!!!!!!! If they could make you pay for breathing in the rental office they would!! They do not take care of their residents and they cut side deals if you play their games and become an inside snitch!! Don't request maintenance, because whatever needed to be fixed will be even more broken after they finish! They are not polite and will hardly speak (unless you're one of their informants). They will keep your packages and then tell you it never came until you produce proof that it was delivered and then they "mysteriously" seem to locate your package (a lot of times it is already opened)!! The women in the leasing office make it a habit of making snide remarks about you, thinking that residents don't talk to each other. Anytime you ask a question they act like it's the end of the world! There are ALWAYS problems with their phone system, when really I think they turn them off on purpose. They will close the office whenever they feel like it and give you 5 minutes notice. And when you question it, they will tell you..."Oh I was the only one in the office and I was showing a unit." The team that was there before this team did the bare minimum, but at least they were respectful and made you feel like they would help, (even if they wouldn't). They increased fees for everything, but then blocked off most of the free surface parking!! Every apartment complex has its own set of issues, but Metroplace takes chaos, lies, foolery, stealing and headaches to another level! If you like smelling marijuana daily, stepping over dog feces in your hallway, wading through trash in the garage to get into your car, having a loud piercing alarm sound whenever (with no emergency and no one knows what's going on - EVER), hearing loud music at 2am every day, having your car repeatedly damaged because the parking spaces are narrow and small, paying for valet trash that only picks up during a 1 hour window from Sun-Thurs and heaven help you if you have a lot of trash, it will not get picked up at all, paying an arm, leg, kidney and lung for a renovated unit (that doesn't even have stainless steel or even new appliances period), getting brown water every other day and gates and doors that do not work, oh and let's not forget they chose to do away with security so good luck feeling safe on the property - then Metroplace is what you want. But if you want to enjoy your apartment and piece of mind, be in a legitimate luxury apartment unit, get the respect you deserve as a rent paying resident, have REAL amenities and not just a fake promise of some, have some quiet, a cleaning staff (not just 1 woman walking around with a broom) and spacious parking - then do what I did and move to Aspire. Heck even Carmel or Tribeca would be better than Metroplace! Consider yourself forewarned. If you don't believe me, just ask a resident who has lived there for a year or more. Wait, they all have moved!!!!!

  This review is for management at Metro Place at Town Center 4301 Telfair Boulevard, Camp Springs, MD 20746, United States. I am extremely saddened that my stay here the last two days was not more welcoming. I travel quite frequently and I’ve never had any issues before booking with an Airbnb yet this time there were complaints from management, to the guy that we booked the Airbnb with, about “heavy noise ” and emails sent out about “reducing noise” along with “noise violations” that were coming from the apartment I was staying in.
  
  I am extremely frustrated and saddened because myself and the two ladies that traveled with me, all the way from Nashville, Tn, stayed in this complex and we were bombarded with messages,from the guy we booked the Airbnb through, stating we were too loud and that there were noise complaints coming from management from our rooms. That would be IMPOSSIBLE due to the fact that we were not even at “Metro Place at Town Center” 4301 Telfair Boulevard, Camp Springs, MD 20746, United States between the hours of 10am-12:00am (MIDNIGHT) on one of the days (April 11, 2018) that the complaint was sent out.
  
  We checked in April 10, 2018 Tuesday at 1:28pm. We only dropped our bags off and then we left to spend time in D.C before a basketball game that we purchased tickets for started. We went to lunch at shake shack, we went to the National Portrait gallery after. We then came back to Metro Place at Town Center at 6pm to shower and change for a game that started at 8pm. We left at 7pm. While we were away I received a message from the guy that we set up the Airbnb through stating that Management messaged him with noise complaints and that we should “reduce noise.” At that time we had been away at the game for a few hours. So it could not have possibly been my friends and I that were making noise!! After the game we had dinner at The Smith which is not far from the Capitol One arena where we attended the basketball game . We arrived back at the Metro Place at Town Center after midnight. We then went straight to sleep .
  
  The next day, April 11, 2018, Wednesday at 10:00 am we left this complex again to start our day. We had an extremely packed itinerary that was filled with activities. We met a friend that lives in Maryland for lunch at Founding Farmers and spent several hours there due to the high volume of customers and due to the fact that we did not have a reservation. We stayed at ate and caught up with our friend. Afterward we went to a Starbucks, we walked to the White House, we visited the Washington Monument and then The African American Smithsonian museum. We arrived at that particular museum at 4pm and stayed until they closed at 5:30pm. I received a message at 4:36pm saying that management complained AGAIN about noise coming from our place. That is not possible!!! We were not there!!! I have receipts, tickets, videos, and pictures with dates and times showing our whereabouts. We were not there to make any type of noise on the two days that we stayed at Metro Place at Town Center.
  
  We checked out this morning April 12, 2018 at 4:30am. With that being said I am taking my complaints further. My friends and I are college graduates, one getting her Masters degree, and I too will be starting my Masters program shortly. We work hard and travel often. We have never experienced this type of treatment or defamation of character. We will not be staying at this location again. I would like to hear back from someone at Metro Place at Town Center regarding this situation.
