  Always wonderful experience! Llots of activities for kids and great talks for adults! Staff are charismatic and love their job. Get on their mailing list for activities!

  This is a small gem that we stumbled upon! It's free, educational, fun, interactive, and can all be done in say, an hour or 2. Came on the 1st of the month and launched rockets. Awesome. Even if you're not into space, It's still fun and not overwhelming.

  A small, but interesting little NASA visitors center with a small selection of things to see. Tucked back from the main road and not very well sign posted - head towards what looks like a staff gatehouse entrance and the visitors center is just off to the side before the gatehouse. You probably won't need more than an hour here, and it doesn't feel like the site was ever designed as a major tourist attraction, but if you're in the area and interested in space and NASA it could be worth a visit. There is an onsite gift shop and parking on site, but check their website for specific visiting hours, they tend to open the visitors center on public holidays, but the shop may not be open.

  Great place to bring your family! There are interactive science education displays, as well as a coloring table for young children. Part of the display area is outside where there is a walkway and a lawn where children can run around, as well as some picnic tables. All in all, we were able to spend a good hour there, and it was nice place to visit for a short day trip.

  A place worth visiting with family & kids as it is educative as well as entertaining. Presentation is good. However I feel they should have been more educative in all aspects of Cosmos & covered areas like quasars, black holes, dwarf stars etc

NASA Goddard Visitor Center, in Greenbelt, MD, is a hidden gem. The center has lots of hands-on learning exhibits that are appropriate for older children and adults (maybe age 8 and up?). They are best if the child knows how to read and some math concepts.
