Africaribbean Taste

Africaribbean Taste offers delicious food and friendly service, albeit in a bare bones setting. There are a few tables available, but I presume most orders are carryout. My favorites are the jerk chicken & the curry chicken. Both are well-seasoned but not too spicy. I recommend pairing one's meat selection with the Jollof rice, especially if you're fond of Louisiana cuisine (a West African staple, Jollof rice is considered by some to be the inspiration for jambalaya). A great side is the coconut bread; its slight sweetness contrasts nicely with the savory main dishes. .

Just tried this restaurant today. Everything was good! The sorrel drink that’s made in house is delicious and has many health benefits. The curry goat was amazing!!! Plantains were cooked perfectly and so were the veggies, very good and very healthy!! Will def be back weekly
