  We used Hodges & Edwards for my grandmother who passed. The experience were so seamless. From the time we made the phone call to the time we buried my grandmother I never had to follow up on anything. They just got the job done. By the way, my grandmother makeup was flawless. She looked so young and peacful at her homegoing service.

  I just wanted to stop by to refute and provide clarity on an earlier comment/review on the Hodges and Edwards funeral home. It’s not the funeral homes fault that someone falsely misrepresented themselves and posed as a family member authorized to make the decisions. The funeral home did their job by aiding to the call, picking up and housing the body. This is business and not in anyway personal! The Edwards family was very empathetic and did express their sympathy to the family. I actually think they went above and beyond their call of duty and I want to personally thank the Edwards family, specifically Marlon Edwards for their assistance in providing information and confirming the deceased whereabouts. Without this information, the family would have been lost.

  From the bottom of my heart I want to thank Hodges and Edwards for their heartfelt compassion and kindness towards me as I had to prepare my Fathers viewing and home going service, very understanding, professional, and helpful towards everything I needed to do. With the COVID doing paperwork was hassle free. My Dad looked like he was laying there asleep looking so natural, hardly any makeup. The staff was the bomb.com, why go anywhere else but Hodges & Edwards Funeral Home, you will not regret it.

  I had to have my mother shipped from Atlanta to DC where all of our family & friends are. I was referred to them by my cousin who is a minister and who frequently does business with them through our church. They made my mother look awesome! I was so happy that it took away the pain of her being gone. I spoke to the gentleman that made her up and he was great as well. Customer service was great and I was blessed to have a great experience with them.
