Having Dr.Yola is a pediatrician is such a pleasure and joyous experience. To have a Dr that makes you “feel at home” on top of fulling hearing you out and not just rushing you along speaks volumes. After a very disappointing visit with my son’s pediatrician, who didn’t seem to hear a word my son or I said, I was frustrated, confused, nearly hopeless and not to mention left with a rather large bill.

Despite our relating the repeated incidents AT SCHOOL of bullying, racism etc. over the course of 2 school years, our previous doctor told me to put my struggling teen on anxiety & depression meds and send him to school anyway because of HER personal beliefs about the importance of school attendance and medicating mental illness!

My son and I both walked away feeling seen, heard, valued, validated, and cared for. with an integrative health care plan! As a result, my son and I are gratefully on the road back to wellness! I wish there were more doctors like Dr. Hancock! She’s a real gift to her profession and us PARENTS!

After meeting with Dr. Yolandra E. Hancock in my 8th month of pregnancy, I knew instantly that she would be the best Pediatrician Physician for my precious, bouncy baby. Her expertise, professionalism, transparency and availability during every interaction with us is cherished and appreciated. Dr. Yola, makes us feel like we are raising our baby in a village. There is no question that we cannot ask. She is very thorough, humorous, honest and down-to-earth. She is the perfect balance for my traditional, “old-school” mom and my modern “new school’ self when it comes to caring for the baby, delicately providing her insight and recommendations.
The location of the office is convenient and ideal. Patients are never double-booked which allows us to fully engage without feeling rushed or just another ‘number’. The exam room is always clean and sterile, bright and welcoming. The way she administers shots is so easing and comforting for my baby. Everything is done electronically including prescriptions which are sent to the pharmacy and ready for pick-up almost immediately. I have complete trust in Dr. Yola and she has a way of making us feel like we are her only patient in the world. 😊

Dr. Hancock is awesome. She is very well knowledgeable when it comes to nutrition and overactive thyroid/Graves Disease. Dr. Hancock is very professional, easy to talk too, and very patience. I enjoy my my visit with her.
