I asked Adjoa if it would be possible to make a custom blazer and two skirts from the fabrics I had, although they were not purchased from her store. She agreed, took my measurements, and kept me informed throughout the process. The outcome was absolutely amazing. The craftsmanship and level of detail was perfect!! I am so proud to have these custom-made pieces in my wardrobe. Afrique Fashion House has an extensive selection of fabrics and fashions ready for purchase, aside from custom making pieces. “Ok I don't write many reviews, but this one I had to do considering how thankful I am. It is currently 2:30am and an hour or so ago I stopped in to this 7-11 to beg to use the restroom since I was in gridlock traffic on Oxon Hill road for two hours. There was snow and ice and the road was blocked off, so I pulled off to the side and abandoned my car and started to walk. I got to the 7-11 and knew that everywhere else would be closed and that they usually don't have bathrooms for customers, but I decided to ask the young man at the counter if I could use the bathroom since we are all stuck out here. He said yes and I was just so grateful. I know its simple and silly, but being stuck in the snow and stressed about how I can't make it home and then being treated nicely just made me feel so much better. I still have to sleep in my car tonight for a bit, but thank you 7-11 for being the only place open for us stranded commuters!”
