  I recently moved to the Eastern Shore and had gotten out of my yoga routine. I had resorted to running as exercise which led to a heel injury. It forced me to get back to yoga because it is the only workout I could do during my injury. I am so glad I found this yoga spot because it is amazing. I tried a Buti class it was hands down my favorite yoga class ever. Very empowering for women and a heck of a workout. I also did their black light Buti class which was super fun. The owner Carol is really knowledgeable and offers something for everyone. It is a really approachable yoga studio and not "stuck up" like many I encountered while living in Arizona. It is my new go-to spot, highly recommend!

  This studio is amazing! They have a large variety of teachers and styles of yoga, all of them are high quality. This is an authentic yoga center in a small town, a peaceful and lovely place to practice. The owner and staff are kind, helpful, very friendly and cute. I have taken classes in many studios and this one is really worth coming back to.

  I absolutely love Foundation Island Yoga!! This place I call my happy place is the BOMB!! I LOVE IT!! If I had the opportunity to do this every single day and night I would! I'm up to 4 to 6 times a week every week. It's been 8 months since I've been practicing yoga and I feel perfect in my own skin. Continuing to gain muscle, strength, energy, flexibility and keeping 20lbs off. I'm more aware of my body, mind & spirit. I sleep better at night and nothing rarely hurts inside any longer as long as I keep doing yoga always. This is for all ages, new at yoga and experienced yogi's. Foundation Island Yoga has an amazing professional atmosphere that is uplifting, encouraging & just down right FUN LOVING. They have the most wonderful staff/teachers who inspire me to keep going each and every day. My journey is to keep continuing to learn how to do all the yoga poses correctly (spin alignment) and to eat more healthy. My favorite class is STILL Bikram BB26x2 and love the mediation classes..... so relaxing like you're on a cloud floating.

  Foundations is a little gem of a yoga studio on Kent Island!! I love this studio, which was built with 100 % Love and inspired vision for mind-body-spirit health by it’s fabulous owner & incredible yoga teacher, Carol Ibex!! She has truly brought to Kent Island what has become a haven and safe space for inner transformation. I’m so grateful for Foundations, it’s heart centered and truly experienced teachers, and all the wonderful community here!! I always feel amazing after spending time here!

  Before my first Bikram class I didn’t consider myself a “yoga person”. That has all changed now! I have not missed a week since I started a couple of months ago. My goal is 3 classes a week and on the weeks I can’t make all 3 my body knows it. This is a studio made for anyone and everyone! If you’re looking for change this is a great place to start!
