  I highly recommend Silvia Byerly, licensed acupuncture therapist, at Shining Light Acupuncture in Grasonville, MD. Silvia provides absolutely wonderful care as she is very compassionate, dedicated, empathetic, thoughtful, caring and provides excellent acupuncture therapies. I have referred her to many patients as an RN because I truly believe her acupuncture treatments are very effective and personalized to each client. She always follows up to see how her clients are feeling as she is very dedicated to providing the best possible care. Everyone I have referred to her cannot say enough wonderful things about her and they all call to tell me how much they LOVE HER and thank me for referring them to her! She never rushes her patients and always takes time to discuss all the factors (mental, physical and emotional) that affect how each person is feeling on a daily basis. Any day spent doing her acupuncture therapies is a good day and you always know you will feel so much better, relaxed and happy in your heart when you leave. The way she makes you feel is totally amazing and her smile is contagious!

  I walked in feeling overwhelmed and in physical and emotional pain as have arthritis in spine and caring for a relative recovering from major surgery. I walked out feeling light, pain free and well cared for. If I lived in the area I would like to visit Sylvia frequently. I see an acupuncturist 2X a month which is so helpful. Sylvia's gentle touch and skillful care is like none other that I have experienced.
