  This was by far the best buying experience that we have had while purchasing a boat. Will Tate was with us the entire process, his communication is second to no one. Will was always a text or phone call away for our questions. At the end of the process we were take care of by Rita Greenan, Rita handled all of the paper work for the boat, she made us feel like we were he only customer. She gave us her full attention and made sure everything was taken care of. We will be back in 5 years for the next boat!!

  I recently boat a 2006 28' pre-owned Chaparral from Knot 10. My salesman was Will Tate and I was very happy with my boat buying experience and dealing with Will as well. I have owned multiple boats in the past 22yrs and had to buy them from several marinas and boat brokers as well. This most recent purchase from Knot 10 was by far the smoothest and most enjoyable boat purchase that I've ever had. Here is why I thought Will makes a great boat salesman.
  
  1. He didn't lie to me or try to rush me into buying anything.
  2. He always returned my calls, texts and emails in the same day and he is a really nice guy as well.
  3. He owns his own large boat. Some boat salespeople have never even owned their own boat which is crazy to me.
  4. I originally wanted to buy a 26' Sea Ray on the lot but then changed my mind, and bought the 28' Chaparral instead. Some other boat salesmen would have had an issue with that but it didn't bother Will at all.
  5. He was knowledgeable about boats and boat equipment in general. He was able to answer all of my questions. Most other boat salesmen that I've dealt with were uneducated and lazy. I didn't have any of those issues dealing with Will.
  6. And lastly he made this whole process happen quickly. We did the sea trial on a cold 32 degree day. He got the boat re-winterized within 1 hour of getting back to the dock which was very important to me. I used Trident funding and they were fast and super easy to deal with as well.
  
  Trust me if your looking to buy a boat, go to Knot 10 and see Will Tate. You will not be disappointed and I highly recommend using them compared to the competition. I'm already saving up for my next boat which will be the Regal 33OBX. Looking forward to having Will sell me that boat too!!

  I bought my boat from Knot 10 through the Maryland office in April of 2016. I was impressed with the operation, so when I wanted to sell my boat in 2018 I contacted them to see if they could sell my boat. Since they did not have a broker in South Carolina at the time, they could not accommodate me.
  I then had to find another broker locally and signed a contract. I was so unhappy with the broker and the lack of effort and communication. Then I received information in the mail that Knot 10 had hired Todd Mullikin to be their broker in South Carolina. I immediately contacted Todd and he went to work immediately to bring potential buyers to the table. He was always very professional and his communication with me through the process was simply awesome.
  I you are thinking about buying or selling a boat, I would highly recommend getting in touch with Knot 10 and let them show you what they can do for you. By the way, as their name indicates, they don’t charge the usual 10% commission that other brokers charge. Why not deal with great people that can put more money in your pocket.

  We listed our boat with Knot 10, the advice and feedback we received was outstanding. They took fabulous pictures and carefully kept in touch with us every step of the way. Our boat sold in three weeks. Amazing! Kyle, Marc & Judy run this business as a family and it shows. It is organized, effective and professional. Everything is carefully documented and explained...all you have to is follow their advice!! Awesome!!
