“Freshly remodeled and feels like a luxury Spa! However, more importantly Dr. Pochron is magic with fillings, repairs and crowns! *SAME DAY CROWNS!!! No member of my large family has ever experienced pain or discomfort! Also, Tracy is fantastic at explaining insurance and has always assisted me when I needed guidance.”

“Before you consider surgery, pain killers, or injections check out this team. It's not a last resort; it's a first. They do chiropractic, physical therapy, and rehab. This review is long but may answer many of your questions. I walked into KI Chiropractic with MRI and x-rays in hand showing sciatica, bulging and degenerated disks, spondylosis, and arthritis. I was in pain any time I was vertical and couldn't sit for more than half an hour without more pain. My doctor was saying that if chiropractic didn't work, I should consult a neurosurgeon. Eight treatments later by Dr. McIlree my pain was essentially gone! I went twice a week, which seems to be the way to get the most benefit. I did not want the "snap and pop" kind of adjustments and as it turned out, with my osteoporosis, those were contraindicated anyway. Dr. Marshall McIlree has these awesome "disjointed" tables that rotate and angle my body while he presses on muscles and "retrains" them. I don't know all the medical reasons why it works, but somehow it changes the message to the nerves so they don't cause the muscles to bunch up, contract, and cause pain and swelling (which constricts the nerves). He has also done some trigger point therapy on my upper back. He blends physical therapy with chiropractic so I do exercises and gentle stretches at home. He has never done anything that hurt in a bad way. There is such a thing as "hurts so good" which comes from productive stretches. It feels like someone massaging your tense shoulders with strong hands. He always asks if I need him to ease up and cautions me that it should never be a sharp pain. I have never had any unbearable pain, even with trigger point, and I am a certified wuss about pain. I love the massage table that I start on with each session lying on my back. They hook me up to a TENS machine and the table has a rolling massager underneath that opens up my spine and relaxes my muscles before I see the doctor. Dr. McIlree is a good, caring listener and he knows that I know my own body. He also teaches me what I need to know to understand the treatments and what to do and not do. He allows me to be an active participant in my own care. We talk a lot. His team is made up of compassionate people who will go the extra mile for you. Kim, at the front desk, is very accommodating and understanding as well as efficient and helpful. Everyone there is like that. When I was researching chiropractors, I contacted the office by email and received lots of information from Dr. LaNae Baker, who is a chiropractor too and the wife of Dr. McIlree. She even replied on weekends. By the way, they offer a free initial consultation. I was so impressed that I started my first treatment at the same appointment as that consultation. They take several kinds of insurance, but be aware that some insurance companies do not pay for a big percentage of the cost of chiropractic. You can call and talk to Mary in billing if you you want to ask about insurance. You may be able to work it out as physical therapy or rehab instead of chiropractic. In any case, prices are reasonable because this rare doctor truly cares more about your health than money. I always feel better and more energized after a treatment. I have asked about how long I need treatments and was told that it was up to me. I expect to reduce sessions to once a week soon until I'm sure that I'm stable and then I'll probably go once a month just to keep my spine dialed in. The location of the office is very convenient for me, because it's on my way home from work. They have even allowed me to come in earlier than my appointment time when I got out of work earlier than expected. These professionals are very flexible and accommodating. Your results may not happen as fast as mine, but they might, and definitely try this before surgery.”
