  La Petite gives the best care to their kiddos ever. I have been taking my daughters here for 4 months and they love every minute of it. The teachers they hire are top notch and so caring and supportive. You get updates on everything and every teacher works so hard to give these kids the best. I love this daycare and will never go anywhere else!

  I love this place. Good seafood market with raw and steamed take out. Building next door for dining in with good portioned entrees. Summer time has all you can eat crabs and corn

  Just finished a dozen jumbo crabs, scallops with a side fries and corn puppies. I must say our meal was excellent. The 2.5 hour drive was worth it. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Thank you ladies!!

  I ordered a 1/2 bushel of jumbo crabs today. They are fresh meaty and tasty. I highly recommend. The staff was so nice also. I will be returning. Might I add I live in Delmar and yes i will traveled for good food.

  Update 2019:
  We've been here for almost two years and we are still very happy! My son is in the 2 year old room now. The teachers have always been very supportive. It's a good sign when your toddler is excited to go to school in the morning. My husband takes him to school, so the toddler tells me "Bye!" and blows a kiss and starts heading for the car! La Petite at Towner does a great job with the little kids! My son has been singing lots of songs and seems to be really filing out his vocabulary with things they discuss at school.
  
  We've had our child in the infant room here and it's been a very positive experience. The teachers are very caring. It's a really big, sunny room and it's filled with activities that are great for little ones. At first, I was concerned that the ratio between infants to teachers was too high. But the teachers are good are distributing attention to the different kids. And infants in general seem pretty resilient once they aren't so tiny - they seem to enjoy crawling/toddling around and interacting with each other or the environment most of all. The most important thing when it comes to taking care of a baby (for me) is attention to safety. I appreciated that La Petite is a company with multiple locations and that they have standardized their expectations. The smaller infants have to be placed on their back to sleep. No pillows or blankets are allowed in the crib (sleep sack is ok). I brought the teachers coffee one time and was informed that they could have cold drinks only. Other pros: They are flexible as far as accommodating different schedules. Their hours are very convenient! They even provide formula, baby food, and finger foods for the kid! We've been quite happy with our experience thus far.

  My child started at this La Petite Academy when he was 8 months old and he's now 3 and a half. We had to change schools due to changes related to our family, but we are grateful for the care he received there.
  Here's a bit of info about each of my son's classrooms (there are others for older children):
  The infant room: It is really large, with a section for cribs, one for eating and one for playing. Children get stimulated to walk, explore colors, textures, and verbal skills. Ms. Melissa was the teacher then but has since moved to La Petite on Constitution. I hear the current teacher is pretty good.
  The toddler room: Also very spacious, with areas for different activities. Riding toys, reading, coloring, etc. They spend time outside twice a day and do reading and circle time towards the end of the day, which is nice because children were calm at pick up.
  The twos: Room is smaller but well organized, with easy access to the toilet. A lot of coloring, singing, group work. There was a bit of transitioning at first, with the teacher leaving. We loved the new teacher and, to this day, my son still asks about her.
  The pre-school room: I can't say much about this one since our little one only spent 3 months there. The teacher is very calm and well organized, which I liked.
  The one downside is lots of paper work for teachers, which I understand they have to do.

  I am a very picky mom when it comes to childcare for my daughter. I looked at several other daycares for my daughter in the area, and thankfully landed at La Petite. As soon as I walked in I knew this was the place for her. The teachers and staff are exceptional and have become like family to us. My daughter started out in the pre-school program and has enjoyed it so much that she is now in the after-school program. My daughter has made several friends and comes home excited to tell me what she has done during the day. La Petite involves the families by having special events and keeps me informed of how my child is doing. I am able to call at any time to check in on her. I also like the fact that the environment is very safe. I can't rave enough about how they have been. My daughter is very happy and well-cared for there.
