Went to Enos bakery. Egg and cheese biscuit sandwich was very good
Gotta love all there is to see and do at this slice of history. And the real treat is the ship that brought the first settlers to Maryland. Be prepared to walk a lot and wear comfortable shoes. It gets very hot in the summer so wear comfortable clothes. The employees are very knowledgeable to the history and provide excellent direction.
Really loved this place. I highly recommend walking the trail from the visitor center to the college. Very cool to see the amount of history southern Maryland has. Found this to be eye opening. They have a staff that dresses up and will show you around the grounds. Super interesting
The historic St Mary's area is pretty large and neat. The cost is $10 for adults and $6 for kids. There is a native American area where you learn about how the local Indians lived. There is a plantation area with animals. There is also the area where St Mary's has been restored with excavation ongoing. They have very informative workers throughout dressed in garb of the time. Very good experience.
