(January 30, 2019, 11:27 pm)What a beautiful, historical sight! My grandsons were delighted with their tour of the lighthouse, exploring the Potomac Riverv and the boars in the Maritimes Museum.

(January 14, 2019, 8:05 am)We have been there several times and had the privilege of a Dosent to tell us all the tidbits and tails of times prier. Each time we visit we learn something new. So steeped in historical treasures, charming lighthouse keepers, Coast Guard guarding our shore line that you are transported back in time imagining what it must have been like. There is a museum and long dock to explore. We have yet to pic-nick on the shore line so that is on the to do list. Old Charm, Great Stories, Make Memories with Family...a perfect place to start.

(September 29, 2018, 9:59 am)This is a small light house and museum but we'll worth a stop, plan for about 45 minutes. The have an exhibit of the German U-Boat The Black Panther, very unique. We didn't know it existed until we saw the exhibit.

(August 21, 2018, 9:40 am)What a quaint hidden piece of history!! So cute!! Very nice place to visit for the more laid back tourists....enjoyed it thoroughly !! Osprey nesting in numerous nest while we visited...I enjoyed the birds as much as the lighthouse!!
