After receiving an abnormal EKG test result in 2015 during a pre-op surgery consultation with my primary care doctor, she referred me to Dr. Trabb.
I am very grateful to my primary care physician for having recommended Dr. Trabb to me when I was in need of a cardiologist. He is kind, understanding, caring, and extremely knowledgeable. I never feel rushed when I see him, and I always feel that I am getting the best medical care possible.
During my initial appointment with him, I was worried that I had had a heart attack and never knew it. He prescribed another EKG that day as well as an echo, and he explained to me in detail what was going on. As it turned out, I had not had a heart attack and my abnormal EKG reading was nothing to worry about. It's a wonderful feeling to know you're in the capable hands of one of the best cardiologists MedStar has to offer.
This week I had the need to call on Dr. Trabb for a follow-up surgery cardiology clearance. Thanks to Sierra in admin for coordinating my request to Dr. Trabb for a clearance letter and to Amy his competent certified medical assistant, I now have that letter, and I can proceed with my upcoming surgery.
I highly recommend Dr. Trabb without reservations.
