  There are many times that I've bought vegetables from Stauffers that were plucked from the field an hour ago or less. Mahlon will even send one of the boys to pick something for you if the stand is running low.
  
  They sell meat from a farm next door, and the Italian sausage and ground beef is some of the best I've ever had.
  
  There's something really nice about having a chat with the guy who grew what you're about to eat for dinner. Mahlon and his family are always helpful and kind, always happy to talk about what's growing, and make it possible for my family to eat a wide variety of quality locally grown food.

  Great locally sourced meat and produce. The beef (Deer View Farms) is especially tasty, as is the bacon, sausage, and scrapple. Veggies vary seasonally, and when local isn't available, there's usually pretty good alternatives. Great orange blossom honey and other preserves, too. The selection is plentiful enough to stop in and pick up everything you need for dinner.

  What can I say beyond genuine and lovely people growing wonderful crops of flowers and veggies that you can’t find anywhere else. Romanesco califlower, tropical flowers, locally grown chestnuts ....the list goes on. Staples and local meat and dairy besides. Worth a road trip. Not touristy or glitzy go elsewhere for fake charm.

  Best prices, gr8 selection of anuals and perennials. Was very hot in the green house. But what do you expect,it's a green house

  Lovely Mennonite multi generational family. They have a huge selection of flower, vegetable and herb plants. During the growing season they also have fresh vegetables and fruits.
